"Do you think I came down the Lagan in a bubble? Speak plain words so a normal person can actually understand you!" - literally everyone

Breaking down the language barrier, one ridiculous phrase at a time.
Wee Buns
The Phrase: "That's wee buns, so it is."
The Translation: It has absolutely nothing to do with bakery goods. If something is "wee buns," it means it is incredibly easy, a total piece of cake, or a walk in the park.
Up to High Doe
The Phrase: "My nerves are completely up to high doh."
The Translation: Pushed to the absolute limit of stress, anxiety, or hyperactive excitement. Think of the musical scale (Do-Re-Mi)—you are revved up to the absolute highest note possible
Catch Yourself On
The Phrase: "Are you actually serious? Catch yourself on!"
The Translation: The ultimate reality check. It means "get a grip," "wise up," or "stop being completely ridiculous." It’s what you say when someone suggests something utterly absurd
Houl Yer Whisht
The Phrase: "Aw, houl yer whisht for a minute!"
The Translation: A polite (or not-so-polite) way of telling someone to shut up, be quiet, or hold their tongue because they are talking absolute nonsense.
Head the Ball
The Phrase: "Don't mind him, he's a total head the ball."
The Translation: Someone who behaves
erratically, eccentrically, or is completely daft/crazy. They are unpredictable, a bit wild, but usually harmless.
Melting My Head
The Phrase: "Stop talking, you are a total melter."
The Translation: When someone or something is driving you completely insane,
annoying you to death, or frying your brain with endless chatter.
