Terms & Conditions for Buyers & Sellers
The Sellers Criteria
(The "How to get a shop window" list)
To maintain the quality of our community, all OCAB sellers must meet the following:
-
Local Roots: You must be a small business or independent crafter based in Northern Ireland.
-
Small Business Spirit: We are a platform for the "little guy." No major corporations or national chains.
-
Visual Standards: You must provide clear, high-quality photos. We are a "Digital Showroom"—blurry or dark images will be sent back for a retake!
-
Active Links: All provided social media, WhatsApp, or website links must be active and lead directly to your business.
The Sellers Rules
(The "How to stay in" list and the Kill Switch)
By trading on OCAB, you agree to our Market Code. Failure to follow these results in a "Permanent Ban":
-
The Copyright Rule: Strictly no unauthorized trademarked characters or "bootleg" designs. If you don't own the rights, it doesn't go in the window.
-
Fair Play: Respect your neighbors. No petty undercutting or "price-war" behavior. Value your craft!
-
No Dropshipping: Everything on OCAB must be your own work, your own service, or locally sourced. No "factory-to-door" imports from overseas.
-
Security & Integrity: Any attempt to provide malicious links, "scam" content, or interfere with the site’s code will result in an immediate and permanent hardware ban. We monitor all outgoing links.
Buyer Advice & Disclaimer
(Keeping you and I in the right)
For our Shoppers: Please read our "Safe Street" guidelines before purchasing:
-
The Middleman Clause: OCAB is a discovery directory. We help you find amazing local talent, but we do not process payments. All transactions, deliveries, and contracts are strictly between you and the seller.
-
OCAB Liability: OCAB is not responsible for refunds, lost items, or disputes. However, if you have a recurring issue with a seller, please alert the Site Owner so we can investigate.
-
Safe Shopping: We recommend not paying 100% upfront for custom work until you are happy with the seller's reputation. Always ask for a receipt or proof of order.
-
The Commitment: Our sellers are vetted, but we always encourage you to check their individual Facebook/Instagram reviews for extra peace of mind.
